This is the health service offered by María at the Ministry of Health of the Regional Government of Andalusia website http://www.juntadeandalucia.es/salud. In this demo, our 3D character Maya replaces María and offers information about the same issues as the official Virtual Assistant's. María can answer questions related to maternity, pregnancy, abortion, the morning-after pill, sexually transmitted diseases, natural and artificial feeding, diets for children, vaccination, (...) and much more. Obviously this demo may not offer medical appointments, but you can access the real system with all its services from the link above.

Mobile Phone Operator

This interactive demo provides standard mobile telephone operators’ services. All users need is their mobile phone number to access this service. All services involving sensitive data management are transferred to a fictitious human operator with a twofold purpose: to reduce complexity and illustrate the assistant’s versatility.

Silverlight Demo
|

This demo exhibits the same functionality as the Mobile Phone Operator demo above. In this case, however, the assistant has been developed with the new Silverlight technology by Microsoft. Although still under development, the Silverlight platform a new paradigm for rich, cross-platform interactive web pages.
